In the Tate Modern art is a big part of it but so is also the exhibition space, this gives more of an effect to the art that is in the gallery. The gallery itself gives the art more of a meaning to be there being in any other place wouldnt give the art its name. If the art was in a shopping mall or in the middle of a field it wouldnt have as much effect as the gallery so each piece of art in the Tate Modern all have a meaning of being there.
